When I went inside the café, there was array of different food items and some that not sell in other bakeries. Staff was good to me when I ordered my coffee and all. Prices are reasonable. Good quality food. Their service was good.

If you want excellent value for money and cheerful, efficient service it’s hard to go past the Sponge Kitchen in Levin. The full breakfast has generous helpings of bacon, sausages, hash browns on eggs and white toast! Similar food and feelings of a NJ diner. Worth stopping over.

If it wasn’t for the local suggesting they have the best breakfast in town, we wouldn’t have gone here. Excellent coffee and the cheapest eggs benedict we’ve had in a long time.The front of the cafe doesn’t do it justice as there’s a big seating area out the side.

Hello. ive had pies but this pie made me- honestly cant explain the feeling i had when i took one bite into this delicious pi. Um I would say number 1 pie in the entire country even tho im lactose intolerant i still ate the chicken camebert pie and it was well worth the tummy ach. please ….. I love you

Just had the whitebaite omlette, salad and fries with a café latté. Absolutely superb.If I wasn't so full, for the freshness, and flavourful taste, I could eat it all over again!

If you dont already know, the Sponge Kitchen has some of the best food you can get. I was in for a sit down lunch with my daughter. I had a Whitebait fritter. This is the 1st time i have been disappointed. 90% maybe more, was egg. But i will be back, you cant beat their Steak&cheese pie !
